Our mission is to provide families a compassionate, loving and peaceful end-of-life care for their pets in the comfort of their home. Our approach is systematic but personalized to fit each animal’s specific needs.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Universidad Nacional de Asunción in Paraguay.
Completed the Veterinary Clinical Program (33 weeks of clinical rotations) at OklahomaState University.
She has worked in small animal hospitals in South Dakota, North Carolina and California before committing to end-of-life care in the Black Hills area.
She is fluent in Spanish and English and enjoys spending time with her husband and baby, and their feline friend Miss Priss.
Every pet and pet owner is different and there is no perfect moment to make the ultimate choice of euthanasia, unless the pet is truly suffering and the quality of life has declined - which is something we are trying to prevent in the first place. Additionally, there is a subjective time frame, which may be hours, days, weeks, or months, when euthanasia is the appropriate decision. During this subjective time, the family has to make the decision they think is best for them and their pet. Some owners need time to come to terms with their pet’s decline, while others want to prevent any type of suffering. Every pet owner is different and entitled to their own thoughts and beliefs.
However, if the most important thing is waiting until the last possible minute to say goodbye, you will likely face an emergency and stress-filled passing for your pet that may not be peaceful, and you may regret waiting too long.
